Total investment capital for the project is estimated at VND 27 billion (US$ 1.8 million). The first phase of the project, scheduled for 2006-2007, will require a investment capital of VND 9 billion, while the second phase, in 2007-2010, will cost VND 18 billion. The shrimp farm will cover an area of 10 ha. Once being put into operation, the farm will produce 4.5-5 billion disease-free shrimp per year, aiming to process 27,000 MT of shrimp for export by 2010. All production stages will be carried out at the farm from breeding, nursery and farming to processing and export. |
