By the end of September 2008, the EASTERN SEA Co., Ltd food and seafood processing plant with daily capacity of 50 tons will be into operation after one construction year.
According to the latest report of Vietnam Custom, in the first half of 2008, ESC was Vietnam’s largest squid and octopus exporter with shipment volume reached 1,935 tons, valued USD 8 million.
In July 2008,exported 80% of its squid and octopus to EU and Japan, said Tran Xuan Phung, ESC’s director.
