Up to now, Tra Vinh farmers have harvested more than 3,690 tons of commercial crab, a double increase over the same period last year. The state media reported that local crab-farmers achieved high profit as they can sell the well-fed crabs at high price in a stable market.

Currently, there are 3,038 households in Tra Vinh raising 37.8 million breeding crabs in a water area of 2,864 hectares, most of them are residents of Tra Cu, Chau Thanh and Duyen Hai communes. (ThuyNinh)
