Mostly exporting pangasius, the plants generated a total revenue of US$30.65 million, 90.9 per cent over last year.

Along with the five plants that have expanded their capacity, the province plans to set up another eight new projects to increase the production of pangasius to 200,000 tonnes per year. This year, these plants are expected to bring in around US$200 million of export turnover.
