Closed procedure to ensure food safety

The issue facing Vietnam seafood industry now is to work out and implement appropriate management methods and procedures of production and processing of seafood to further increase competitiveness of Vietnam seafood products in the global market.

After some unfortunate incidents regarding food safety issues for Vietnam seafood products in some big markets, Vietnam seafood enterprises and exporters showed much more concern over these issues.

A promising model

Faquimex which was selected as one of prestigious exporters of seafood products has applied the integration model with farmers to implement the closed clean farming procedure from hatcheries to farming. Accordingly, Faquimex can control antibiotics and foreign matters in 100 percent of its raw material lots supplied for export processing.
